Jordan High School Wellness Center, a 1,920 square foot facility with 5 exam rooms is another school based health center that recently opened in the Second District. The center will be run in partnership with the Watts Healthcare Corporation and the Los Angeles Unified School District.
Jordan High School senior and student athlete Devin Perkins has always wanted to have a health clinic nearby to do his physical exams easily and in a timely manner. “I knew I needed this clinic to get my sports physicals as quickly as possible,” he said at a recent ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating the completion of the center’s construction. “I know when you are not feeling well or just need help with personal problems, this clinic will be there for me.”
