Come Out to Thursday's Metro Board Meeting

Help shape the future of transit investments in the Crenshaw/LAX Transit Corridor. Measure R, the half-cent sales tax approved by voters last November, could finance up to $1.7 BILLION in public transit, congestion relief, pollution reduction, and economic development investments along Crenshaw, from Wilshire to LAX.

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) Board of Directors will select either Light Rail Transit (LRT) or Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) at its December 10 meeting.

Let the Board know which mode and design options you prefer.

Limited transportation to and from the Metro Board Meeting will be provided from two locations in the 2nd District: First Church of God in Inglewood and West Angeles Church of God in Christ in Los Angeles.

Buses will depart at 8:00AM sharp on Thursday, December 10, 2009. Parking will be available starting at 7:30AM. Please be prompt.
