The Annual Aviation Industry Career Expo is a free community event with career exhibitors from Boeing, the Organization of Black Airline Pilots, Tuskegee Airmen, Buffalo Soldiers, Navy, Army, and many more. The event also features helicopter and airplane rides, job fair, entertainment, and food. It’s fun for the whole family!

In the above photo, Supervisor Ridley-Thomas honors Kimberly Anyadike — the youngest African American female to fly a plane solo across the country. Robin Petgrave, the founder of Tomorrow’s Aeronautical Museum, was also recognized by Supervisor Ridley-Thomas for his work in helping young pilots like Kimberly.
