100 Years Since Allensworth – Is California Living Up To The Legacy?

Register now for the California State Parks Foundation Conference “100 Years Since Allensworth – Is California Living Up to the Legacy?” at the University of Southern California, on Monday May 4, 2009. The conference will focus on revealing the important, hidden stories of the state’s African-American heritage, exploring work, parks, play and civic engagement.

The day includes panels, lunch and keynote speaker, the Hon. Willie L. Brown, Jr., along with a post-conference reception in the brand new Visitors Center at the Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook in Culver City. The deadline for registration is April 28.
