One year after Ron Artest surprised millions of television viewers by thanking his psychiatrist for helping him win the 2010 NBA championship, he continues to promote mental health awareness. At a recent event organized by Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health, Supervisor Mark Ridley-Thomas joined the Lakers’ small forward to talk to Jefferson High School  students about the importance of seeking help for their emotional and mental troubles.
