Are there green topics that interest you? Would you like to learn more about how environmental issues really impact you and your community?
The Empowerment Congress, in conjunction with Supervisor Ridley-Thomas, is kicking off a series of “Green Tea” Seminars and is seeking your input. People who live or work in the Second District are invited to join us in developing monthly seminars at the Exposition Park Environmental Service Center. The first tea will be held in April.
Issues under consideration include topics such as “Eating green: What it takes to plant, grow and maintain a community garden?” and “Green jobs: Are they really out there?”
